What Ben Witte doesn’t tell you in his blurb is that he is a man with a social conscience. Ben long ago helped build the website for our organization, Central Vermont Refugee Action Network, volunteering many hours beyond those we paid him. When our organization grew enough to make our website more sophisticated we hired him again to expand its capabilities, linking volunteer sign-ups and donations automatically to spread sheets, adding banners to our home page for special campaigns, changing the format to meet the structure for cellphone users. He performed miracles when it came to our chief fundraiser, the March Arts Marathon, inventing all manner of new techniques to showcase the artwork of our 30 volunteer artists and allow 1000 sponsors to sign up for their work. Altogether, Ben has gracefully and with little fanfare helped us develop the perfect website for our organization, and I am confident would do the same for you.

When you hire Ben, you will find him quickly responsive, with an intelligent grasp of the desired intent of your requests, and able to interact without ego getting involved. He keeps the CVRAN website running smoothly, and is there at a moment’s notice when there is more to do.

Rachel, CVRAN President

Ben Witte is the essential ingredient in the extraordinarily successful fundraiser, the March Arts Marathon, for the Central Vermont Refugee Action Network (CVRAN.) After speedily grasping the nature and structure of the fundraiser we were inventing, he did all the complex initial computer work and was able to manifest our vision.

As part of how the fundraiser works, the artists and writers participating write and design the materials for their personalized fundraising pages. Ben then creates each page.

Ben also devised ways for us to have two on line exhibits each year, creating those exhibits for artists and writers in several media, including visual, written and audio. These showcase our artists’ work and are very well received.

Each year he invents new ways to make the marathon easier to navigate for the administrator and the participants. He leads us in extensive testing of each change to the system before we go live.

As with any project of this size and complexity (at least a thousand donors and thirty to forty artists in all media each year) questions and issues arise as people use the systems. As the coordinator of the marathon I work closely with Ben on solving all the problems. He is unfailingly prompt and effective, and happy to brainstorm creative solutions. And always patient.

I can’t recommend Ben’s work highly enough.
